Felt Club XL is on Sunday. I live about 8 hours away from LA. I want to go put my toes in the sand at Santa Monica Beach, I want to do the free Gocco Demo at the show, I want to go browse everyones cool stuff, learn to needle felt, enjoy my one day off of work… I want to go take lovely photographs along the way and get away from the heat for a day.
If only gas wasn’t so expensive and I wasn’t so broke.
I wish I had oodles and kaboodles of money to spend on stuff from Etsy… I always find stuff that I really love and want and kinda sigh to myself. So, to make up for my horrid Thursday that had no orange photos and also to showcase some great etsy things that I would love to own… here ya go! Enjoy.
I had yesterday, today, and tomorrow off, so I caught a Yoga class this morning since I missed my Thursday class due to work. It was good. It’s weird how lovely your body feels after doing yoga. I love how at the end everyone just lays down on their mats and goes to sleep for 10 minutes before we finish. <3 yoga! (but I seriously need to buy my own mat!)
The above photo is from my new favorite blog. A blog all about Squids! Gotta love that. When I was a child I wanted to be a Marine Biologist so very bad. (Even though I was terrified of the ocean) Because of how much I adored Giant Squids. I just love them. When they caught that one on video for the first time, I was so amazed! I guess I just have a special place in my heart for all deep sea creatures. :D
I totally sucked at the color week thing. This wasn’t a great week, emotionally, for me to be doing it. Maybe I will pick up some slack next week and do a few days dedicated just to orange! That would be sweet.

I’m in a hurry because I have to drive to Phoenix this morning, which is about 3 hours away, so I can’t really dig about and find some good yellow images. Instead, I will be lame and post one of my own things. I made and sold him a while ago, and he was one of my favorites.
Green! (second only to orange…) is such a fufilling color. It is so happy and lovely and always, always looks good on me. I love green. It is the color of earth, of delicious trees, of spring and Oak Creek Canyon, of tea leaves, of cactus, the color of wet grass beneath out toes. <3 green!
And although I’m not really in the mood for it… (I was pondering a gloomy, self-pitty filled post, since that is how I feel, but alas…) I said I was going to participate so yep.
