I couldn’t resist
one more post, to cheer me up. Doesn’t she look so beautiful and happy in her new home?

I’m so glad she found you!

I’m so glad she found you!

I just finished editing this photo of Audrey so I thought I would make another post. I forgot to mention in the previous post I’ve had the flu since last friday and I still feel pretty bad. I just wish this stupid flu would go away.
I’m in a bad mood, too. And I can’t make it go away. And I have no one to talk to. I still can’t believe I have no friends in Tucson. I guess I am just not very good at making friends. And all of my friends from Phoenix have stopped talking to me for the most part. I did finally see one of my friends last time I was in Phoenix, but… sigh.
My blogs always end up on depressing topics. I guess the good thing about being so busy is you can forget how utterly unhappy you are for a few minutes.
On a lighter note, isn’t Audrey sweet?
I worked 9 and a half hours today. Not at some answer the phone, hang out, read the internet job. I WORKED all 9.5 of those hours… nonstop, in overdrive. I am exhausted. But hey, at least I am utilizing my degree, enjoying my job for the most part, and learning crap too. I wish there was more time in the day! I have hardly plushed since I started working here. I can barely find time to blog… I don’t sketch, I don’t really have time for anything. I wish more than anything I could be a working artist, sell my stuff, immerse myself in creative pursuits, hang out with my dog more… Is it even feasible? sigh.
I did take a few new dog pictures, though. Above is a new shot of Dingo and below is a photo of Audrey, an adorable bull terrier I met. I did a little shoot with her and I’m pleased with how things went.
Tomorrow I drive down to Phoenix to catch a flight to Texas with my family. We are going to visit my grandmother who was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and is moving into a nursing home. We are actually having Thanksgiving in Phoenix with my Poppa (grandfather) before we catch a flight to Arlington. It should be a nice break though. I haven’t flown in 8 years, though and I am terrified.

Um, look what I just bought! <3
An adorable plush from Cotton Monster! Yay! I stumbled across her stuff a month or two ago and fell in love with it. Another plusher… who makes monsters and cephelopods! :swoon: And they are so unique and awesome. I knew I had to have one.
Lately I feel like all I do is wake up, get ready for work, go to work… work my ass off… come home, eat, fall asleep. Don’t get me wrong… job=great but shit, it is a lot of work and I am always so tired!
The Luv&Hug show was apparently quite a success. Above you can see my squid and jellyfish. The jellyfish is the only piece if mine which sold so far, but I got a lovely e-mail from the person who bought it so that made my day! You can see all the pictures from the show here.
Man, I really wish there were more hours in the day AND that I didn’t get so exhausted using them. I’ve hardly plushed at all since this show. I have another show early next year and I bought the fabric to make a GIANT Squid… like.. 8-10 feet (including the tentacles.) The inside fabric of the legs is going to be silk! Should be awesome.
p.s. check out my new pic with all of my plushies! <3 These five are the ones that went to the Luv&Hug show. (it says treesofmachinery on the bottom because this is my deviantart id.. :D )
