I wish my Dogs didn’t have dog shit breath…

Posted by: Lexi @ 7:27 pm

Ick, it smells so bad! They aren’t even in my face, but every time they exhale I get a nice big gust of stinky doggy breath.

In other news, I NEED THAT (above)! Isn’t it perfect? Oh how I want it. So. Much.

I made these two as gifts. The Yellow Squid was for my family’s Chinese Christmas Gift Exchange and ended up going to my cousin Marii. The Purple Kitty plushie was a gift for my Grandmother.

Blah. I’m feeling very down at the moment… and that is all.

I keep seeing these Namekuji on Flickr, and I want one. I don’t exactly know why, but I just do.

goodbye dear whale sharks…. will we ever meet?

Posted by: Lexi @ 5:09 pm

Right now I am supposed to be driving across the states to see Whale Sharks in Atlanta with my boyfriend. Instead, I am sitting all alone in my bed looking through Flickr pages and reading the This is Blythe forum. :( And my boyfriend is hundreds of miles away, in Seattle and not spending Christmas here with me, like he promised.

To say I am disappointed is an understatement. It is more like being heartbroken. But life goes on, right? I spent the morning at SAS buying fabric and trim to make doll clothes and then I spent the afternoon tidying my place and reading the internet. You can see my Alice Cherry Blossom in the photo above. I’ve named her Lola Pig. Ravi took the (read: his ) good camera with him to Seattle so I’m stuck taking sub par photos.

I have so much plushing to do it is unreal. I’m going to make a squid for the the Christmas gift exchange and “something” for my grandmother tonight because I am supposed to be going to Phoenix tomorrow morning. I kind of don’t want to go. Yes, I want to see my Mom. No, I don’t want to hang out in Phoenix for days. Oh well.

p.s. I’m doing a doll-sized fabric swap if anyone is interested: Doll Sized Fabric Swap?

1. Accessory, 2. Cupcake to Kelly from Secret Santa!, 3. Bathtime with me?, 4. Christmas Outfit for Alice Cherry Blossom, 5. Lovely Swirly Tail, 6. Alice Cherry Blossom Closeup, 7. Sneak peek, 8. Her very first shots!, 9. Warm bunny wunny hat for Olive

So uhm yay, I just purchased a Elfdoll Alice Cherry Blossom doll (above mosaic), YAY! Ravi paid for half of it, which made this possible as they are quite expensive! I have been staring at them for days, really, really wanting one and now… in 3-5 days… she shall be mine! :excited: Gah, I am so excited!!!

Still working on getting a blythe doll. The one I want is called Dainty Biscuit and she has pink hair! :D I’m trying to get a “used” one, which would come nude and hopefully not be quite as expensive. I have about $90 to spend on her so if anyone has any leads…

In any event, I’m all happy and giddy about my new piggy.

But sadly, Ravi is leaving for Seattle tomorrow and will be gone for over two weeks… I am a little distraught. But I expect I will get quite a lot of plushing done. And piggy dress making. And hopefully blythe dress making if that pans out.

blythe!

(made this mosaic using the tag “blythe” cuz I’m lazy)

So six months ago, a friend (Mark of Bisbee Stitches) mentioned seeing some girls in town carting about funny-looking customized dolls that were apparently all the rage. I didn’t think much of it and as he couldn’t remember what they were called I forgot about them.

Then I saw one, on someone’s flickr page. I didn’t realize at the time this is what he was talking about, but now I put two and two together… And I’m in love! Haha. I’ve been stalking the Blythe forums for a month or two now, wishing I could afford one.

Well, I have a bit saved up in my paypal account and I’m getting myself one! I’m super excited and I can’t wait to start stitching little dresses for her. :D I’m crazy, I know.

In any event, I made these the other day. I’m planning to post them to etsy, but if anyone is interested they are $8 plus $2 shipping. They are newborn baby monsters! :D

A new plushie I made. She is made of a vintage napkin and I think she is super cute. Available in my etsy shop.

This is my new puppeh, Penny. She was my grandmothers dog, but sadly my grandmother has developed Alzheimer’s and can no longer care for her so I brought her to Tucson (from TX) to live with me. Isn’t she cute?

In other news, I cannot wait for my Holiday vacation from work. Srsly.

I totally have tons of other stuff I could/want to write about but I am feeling to lazy and barfy right now.
