Moving is such a bloody pain. And I am terrible at unpacking. And I have no Ravi to help me…. he’s good at putting my stuff away even though it drives me nuts when he does it. I also have no internet, which is totally horrible. Right now I’m at Epic Cafe using their free wi-fi and enjoying a nice glass of Strawberry Lemonade.

My parents drove down for a visit today and to see my new place. There happened to be an Antique Toy Show, so I dragged them along to check it out. It was actually really disappointing because it was mostly toy cars… and lots of newer (80’s and newer) stuff. But I did score this amazing Wind-Up tin bird. I almost bought the exact same bird on ebay then didn’t. The funny thing was I first spotted the same exact one at someone else’s table for $35 and I knew that was an insane price… so I moved on. THEN I spotted this one and the woman was only asking $5 for it. I was pleased.

I’ve been doing lots of swaps lately (I have two more in the works right now!) and this amazing camera pouch was one of them. The amazing Hine traded this one for one of my squids and I gave it to Ravi as a little gift… I know this picture is shite, but we were packing and I knew he was leaving and I wouldn’t have a chance to snap this photo again, so I just had him stand on the patio. Thank you Hine!

And here is what I received from my blind swap with The Needle. Aren’t they adorable? I was sent two because trinlayk thought the first one was lost in the mail!
